Road Rage of NJ Detective – Shot and killed unarmed MD Driver

NJ Detective Joseph Walker, 40, fatally shot 36-year old Joseph Harvey, Jr. in a fit of road rage on Saturday.

According to CNN, a preliminary investigation suggests that an altercation on MD Route 30 occurred between the drivers.  Afterwards, both vehicles exited on the same ramp and parked.  Harvey and a passenger walked towards Walker’s vehicle.  Walker then fired a . 45 Glock at Harvey which killed him.

Spokeswoman for the MD State Police, Elena Russo, told CNN affiliate WJZ that Walker’s wife and three children were in the car at the time of the shooting.

Walker faces second-degree murder and manslaughter charges, and is being held by Maryland State Police on a $1 million dollar bond.  CNN Story Here
